i ended up with a snow day and finished watching LOST season 2, so no complaints here. :)

btw, has anyone else noticed a minor "LOST"/"buckaroo banzai" connection (my money's on octo)?

AC, you sound like one of those battered women who makes excuses for her abusive boyfriend.

"It was a good thing he broke my ankle because it gave me the opportunity to do some much needed housework" etc.

HAH!

no matter what i say it reinforces your hypothesis by making me sound defensive.

for instance: it made for an unexpected three day weekend! and it was snowy-gorgeous out! and i never got out of my pjs!

see? just reinforces your hypothesis. sigh.

but how did you know i did do a little housework?

Are you talking about the presence of Clancy "Rawhide " Brown?

That's some weird timing. Julie and I finished season 2 of Lost on Sunday.

Press the button! No! don't press the button!

hell yeah octo! i knew i could count on you.

i loved the edge-of-your-seat finale and should be getting the first DVD from season 3 shortly. much as i look forward to getting fully caught up in the near future (so much to think about and discuss, spoiler aversion) it will be odd to watch LOST on a regular TV timeline.

"it will be odd to watch LOST on a regular TV timeline."

If by "odd" you mean torturous! You've been spoiled so far =)

AC said...

absolutely. i can only hope the torture is balanced by the pleasure of being able to discuss episodes in real time with my fellow LOST addicts.

I don't think I can ever watch another show on a weekly basis again. It's so liberating! No matter how great the show is, I can always wait 6 months to watch it commercial free, at my leisure.

We're working through Lost 3 and things are really starting to heat up!

By the way, the 1st season of Heroes is basically a self-contained mini-series. You'll get annoyed sometimes but overall it's worth watching. Not sure I'll bother with season 2.
