...great review, makes me want to rewatch the movie!

not fair to blame nietzsche for what these morons did; nietzsche didn't say to murder people; if my college memory is correct (and it probably isn't), he was trying to point out the ways in which judeo-christian ethics are millenia-old sociological constructions and don't take into account the totality and truth of contemporary human nature, and therefore don't serve us well anymore. he wanted us to critically re-examine values, and create a new and more reality-based, functional morality, not subjegate or destroy others.AChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09439637162161958915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17244873.post-63036756336360396412014-10-01T10:25:25.472-07:002014-10-01T10:25:25.472-07:00Excellent review! Damn Nietzsche.

(Crap, I tried to spell it right without looking and I didn't. At what point, maybe the 10 minute mark, do you realize that THEY’RE NEVER GOING TO LEAVE THE ROOM?!?!Johnny Sweatpantshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00096734271846528993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17244873.post-76099526333840012602014-10-01T09:01:50.129-07:002014-10-01T09:01:50.129-07:00Wow, what an interesting review! That "play as a movie" worked well in The Bad Seed (1950), which is an excellent study of psychopathy in a cute little girl. I had no idea that film reels were only 10 minutes long back in the day.
