I just saw Resident Evil: Retribution in...Hmmm...

I just saw Resident Evil: Retribution in 3D with 50P when he visited last week and I was shocked to find that I loved it! Mind you I hadn't seen parts 2-4 but it doesn't matter because they gave a perfectly acceptable recap in the first 5 minutes. Granted the acting is pretty awful and the dialog is pretty much unnecessary but the 3D was incredible. I have expressed hatred for 3D movies recently but this one changed my mind completely. Not only was it the first time I experienced zombies running at me in 3D (awesome) but I spent half the movie ducking from bullets, knives and a plethora of other shiny sharp weapons. Anyway I highly recommend seeing this one in the theater because it's pointless to watch it otherwise.

Also Crystal rented a brilliant silent Swedish/Danish movie over the weekend called Haxan: Witchcraft Through the Ages. It's visually stunning and it features the best looking devil I have ever seen on film. I recommend watching it with the commentary.
