In the original Terry O'Quinn plays a seemingly normal man, who wants the perfect family. When they don't measure up, he eliminates them and moves on to find his next perfect family. The Covenant, Wicked Little Things and the upcoming Prom Night remake? That's a dubious pedigree if I ever heard one.
Another "meh" remake in the making? Or remaking? Probably. The first one wasn't very high profile but I remember Terry O'Quinn being damn good in it. It might be a character that's just owned by a given actor, like Norman Bates and Vince Vaughn.
