The recent appearance of actor Jeremy Davies on Lost made me think to push this movie he's in. It's called "CQ" (which is a play on "seek you," but don't let that deter you). It takes place in Paris in 1969, and Davies plays the editor on a Barbarella-style B grade sci-fi/spy movie. Between the movie-in-movie scenes of mod future and the regular scenes of Europe in the 60's, it's pretty damn charming.
Julie and I started digging on Davies when we saw the new version of Solaris; he's probably the best thing in that movie, which I'm NOT recommending to all. Now off to your Netflix queues!

Yeah...I can't recommend Solaris, but I think it's worth watching just to catch Jeremy Davies' crazy ass good performance. It's not about lust, either. He's just freaky good is all. For lust, let's talk about Jemaine Clement.

You wouldn't think chicks would go for a guy who strives for the appearance of "an ogre who works in a library," but well, this guy makes me nuts. I think he is so freakin' cute.
Thanks for the recommendation, it will be going into my netflix shortly.
