San Fran Doesn't Suck
Come the F@#$ On! Mid 60's and this view from my hotel room window? JSP may be on to something. (Of Course the real problem with California is all the damn Californians living here. Fill this place with folks from the NorthEast, with a little attitude, and then you got yourself a festival.)

Some of us live on Naboo, and some of us live on Hoth. (At least I spend my summer weekends on Endor.)
Miko, I'm glad you enjoyed San Francisco. The view from your hotel was spectacular!
And you're right about filling it up with northeasterners. Almost everyone here is such a wuss when it comes to weather and they complain when there's a tiny bit of frost on their cars in the morning. I want to shake them sometimes and yell "You don't know what suffering is!"
JSP, yeah the view was great! Traveling all year pays off with a perk or two at the nicer hotels.
About the people, the whole city is filled with folks that look like extras from "Dazed and Confused"...it was like we were wearing signs that said "we are from the real world, and have to go to work now".
On the flip side of that last comment, I DID see a guy in a Zoot Suit on Sunday, wide tie and full, round fedora and all. I liked to believe he was going to the hippest church ever...all the dudes in Zoots and the ladies in slinky evening gowns. Maybe a minister leading a big band.....
