Wes Craven Directing 25/8

From darkhorizons, Recently there was rumor going around that Wes Craven's next project was going to be a film called "25/8". Today Variety confirmed that bit of news and gave us some more details on what exactly to expect. The film unveils a signature villain, a serial killer who turns up 15 years after his purported death, to kill the seven children born on that fateful night.

I guess we shouldn't get too excited however because Craven revealed, "It's more a thriller than slasher film, and revolves around a young kid with a very dark past involving his family and his father." Usually when Craven says his film is not a horror flick he really means it. Remember Red Eye?

Rogue has given the project the greenlight and everything should begin rolling in April. Wes even commented on the upcoming Nightmare On Elm Street remake saying, "My baby has fallen into the hands of others, and what can I say but wish them luck."

That title needs some work. It's better than Quantum of Solace, however.
