Is Anyone Else Thrilled that Project Runway is Back?

(Yeah, yeah, I know, loving this show means I am secretly gay and haven't come to terms with it...blah, blah, blah.)

Am I the only one on the blog that is in love with this show? I know NOTHING about fashion, as my wife will confirm, but I freakin' love it. Just wondering.

[JPX] I don't judge you, Miko! We all have our secret shame. Thanks to Whirlygirl making weekly pleas for me to tape her America's Next Top Model, I essentially saw every episode last season. In case you're wondering why I'm writing this here instead of posting, it's because my ability to post has been really iffy lately. I'll move this comment to the posts when I get it working again.

[Octopunk] Everybody gets the terms "post" and "comment" confused, but JPX does it so precisely here I had to jump in and mock him. "Writing this here instead of commenting, ability to comment is iffy" would be the way to say it. And the last one is my favorite, because he says he'll move the comment to the posts when it's actually a post he needs to move to the comments. I am one week away from turning forty and you can bet I'll be using this incident to fend off JPX's barbs about my doddering old man status.

Yeah, baby! I am totally PSYCHED this show is back on the air. That guy totally deserved to lose last week.

Plus, it's on at 9pm now, which is much better for those of us who can't seem to stay awake past 10:30.

Wow, DCD, way to top me. Not only did you admit to loving the show, but you outed your old lady hours too.

Do you have a scoop of Butter Pecan ice cream and a cup of Sanka while watching?

I've always been curious about this show. Is it on cable? If it is JPX may have to start taping it for me.

Yes on all fronts Whirly! It is great, it is on cable, and JPX should definitely tape it for you.

JPX once again can't comment and asked me to play translator. He says:

"Dude, you're killing me!"

...and I say, Miko, I agree with you 100%.

JPX is right. I did throw him under the bus on purpose.

I just don't want to be the only straight male in America watching this thing.

Since everyone likes this show so much JPX will definitely have to tape it for me.

Who votes he does?

Oh no - it's Alvin and the Chipmunks all over again!

Miko you seem to be on a roll today. Any special occasion?

JSP, nope, nervous energy I think.

No, no, no, it is not Alvin and the chipmunks again because JPX never has to watch it. He only needs to press record and then hand the tape over to me.

I never made him watch that stupid movie anyway. I seem to remember the vote ending in a tie, and AC, if she had voted, was going to be the deciding vote, either that or the others that didn't vote like I'm not marc, I mean 50p.

And, JSP, I seem to remember you tossing your brother to the wolves.

Miko, you weren’t on the blog yet, were you? If you had been I think you would have voted for JPX to watch the terrible chipmunks.

Whirly, I was watching from the sidelines back in the Alvin days.

I don't know, even with my love of all things funny, I think making anyone watch CGI chipmunks for over an hour is cruel and unusual.

Oh, come on, Miko, I thought you like to feel the flames of hell like I do.

I have to painfully admit that I saw most of the chipmunks movie at my in-laws a couple of months back. Don't ask.

LOL @ the butter pecan, miko. I'm lately addicted to those ice-cream "Drumsticks" actually.

Go DCD!

so dcd, we can't expect to read your review of the chipmunks movie on the blog any time soon?

miko, don't forget the idea that eventually we'll all force each other to watch an episode of some tv show, like our music experiment. make the other boys watch antiques roadshow or project runway, i say!
