JSP is slated to see it at 3:30am this morning!!!
By the way, I tried to post the AWESOME Watchmen trailer earlier today but my computer was going haywire at work - now, of course, the link is no longer there.
So, 3:30 am PST means he should be home by 9:30 EST, so we should see a review by 10AM our time?
Come on JSP, all the cool kids are doing it...
and guess who'll be sitting next to him...
bastard!
Bastards, both of you.
I will likely wait until next weekend, which is hateful but unavoidable. I don't really know how vicious LA movie crowds on opening weekend, but I don't really feel like finding out.
From '98 through '01 I was constantly braving summer movies on opening night in Times fucking Square. Quite a workout.
I wasn't planning on going tonight, but all of this talk is changin my mind. I might have to change my plans and convince my friend to go.
Ugh. I have no idea when we'll be able to go. We still haven't made it to Indiana Jones...
I fell asleep during Indiana Jones at the drive-in. I know, it's shameful, and JPX will never let me forget it. In my defence, it was the second movie, I had been drinking, and was on little sleep. I fought the exhaustion for ahwile. I think I nodded off for maybe 15 mintues in the middle, but was able to wake myself up for a significant portion, but soon dozed again. This was the second time I fell asleep during a movie with JPX.
I also once fell asleep watching Oceans 13 at the Cinema Pub. Again, alcohol and a lack of sleep was invloved.
If I do it a third time, JPX may never take me to see another.
Wait I did. During Spider Man 2, again at the drive-in, but at least this was my second viewing of it.
Okay, I suck.
Whirly, on the other hand, JPX gets to tell people he was with a drunken 20-something girl at the drive-in....I think it balances out.
OK, just found out the nanny saw Dark Knight in the wee hours of the morning in DC with friends...
I can't decide if this makes her hotter, or if I hate her.
I didn't think about it that way, Miko. Way to spin it. Anytime I'm feeling bad about my behavior I'll tell you and you can make it sound better.
JPX would like me to mention that he can't post at the moment, and that "he was too engrossed with Indiana Jones to pay attention to the young drunk girl asleep next to him at the drive-in!"
Hmmm, Whirlygirl is not sure what she thinks of this.
The chivalrous part of me admires him for not taking advantage of a lady in a "reduced-state".
The rest of me does NOT understand movie over nubile young flesh. (Except the flesh would still be there after the movie....hmmm. Conundrum.)
nubile=young
please excuse the repetition, but the young part IS important
Miko, you crack me with with your excitement about younger girls. JPX, doesn't think anything about me being younger than him.
Yeah, and rich folks don't think about money.
(Actually, it isn't that big a deal to me, but it kinda became a theme what with the nanny and all. The Swede IS 6 years younger than me anyhoo.)
Miko, I didn't think you liked young girls as much as you let on.
