A huge sinkhole in Guatemala City (map), Guatemala, crashed into being on Sunday, reportedly swallowing a three-story building—and echoing a similar, 2007 sinkhole in Guatemala.
The sinkhole has likely been weeks or even years in the making—floodwaters from tropical storm Agatha caused the sinkhole to finally collapse, scientists say.

somewhere out there, there must be a photoshopped image of some tentacles curling up from this hole. or there ought to be.
That looks totally surreal.
It really does. The hole looks photoshopped by itself, even without tentacles. I love the crowd of little people standing up the street.
Too bad about whatever house was on that corner. If I knew the address I would order pizzas to be delivered there. I guess after thirty minutes they'd be free and the guy could just drop them down the hole.
