J. Jonah Jameson has always exhibited an irrational all-consuming hatred for Spider-Man but in this strip he basically admits that he needs him for profit. It makes me wonder what would happen if Spidey was thrown in jail. Would he rejoice or complain?
J. Jonah Jameson's hatred for Spider-Man has never made any sense to me. I've never understood why Peter would continue working for the Bugle with such a verbally abusive boss when there are plenty of other newspapers that would be happy to have Spider-Man photographs. Also, wouldn't someone eventually question why Peter is the only person who can get such good photographs of Spider-Man? I'm over-thinking again aren't I?
