(2005) ***
In the deeply disturbing Feed, Australian cyber-crime investigator, Phillip, stumbles across an internet site devoted to “feeders and gainers”, a sick subculture of individuals who take sexual pleasure in feeding their partners who in turn become turned on as their weight increases. Through his research he learns that the last gainer mysteriously disappeared after reaching 600 pounds. Philip tracks down the internet site to Ohio and, against the protestations of his superior, travels alone to confront the webmaster. What he discovers is more bone chilling than he ever imagined as he learns about the monstrous nature of the feeder’s plans.
Feed was exceedingly difficult to watch. Even for this seasoned horror veteran the sadistic nature of this film was unsettling and vomit-inducing. Throughout we are treated to disquieting imagery of sexual acts involving copious amounts of food coupled with morbid obesity. Imagery aside the very idea of this film challenges conventional morality. Don’t get me wrong, I was entertained, but disgusted, like rubbernecking at a bad traffic accident. This is on the level of Cannibal Holocaust queasy. The quick-cut editing, sometimes poor acting, and occassional inappropriate use of music adulterated the overall experience but this one is worth a look for those with the stomach to handle it. For everyone else, avoid at all cost. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Check out the trailer to get the idea.

Maybe you should post a warning not be eating while watching this. I just lost all the pleasure I was having from my Little Debbie Nutty Bar...
The picture alone should've been the stop sign =)
Sooo... can I have your Nutty Bar? I can't really watch trailers at work.
Ah - but there was no picture when I was looking at it - just the trailer...
I managed to choke down the Nutty Bar anyway, I mean really, not much can stop me from fully devouring a Nutty Bar.
What the hell is this Nutty Bar of which you two speak?
What sayeth thou? Never to have partaken of the peanut buttery, chocolatey crunchiness of the Nutty Bar?!? Get thee to a Quickie Mart post haste!
