Grown men have been leaping over rows of babies in the north Spanish village of Castrillo de Murcia in an annual rite meant to ward off the Devil. Jumpers dressed as the Colacho, a character representing the Devil, bounded over clusters of bemused infants laid out on mattresses. Nobody appeared to get hurt in this year's festive event.

HaHa Landshark!! My thoughts exactly! What is with all these crazy baby rituals we are seeing lately? The dropping, the jumping over, what's next??
I saw the dropping thing on Friendly Atheist's blog, but I found this one first and tipped him off, so now he's put this one up, too. Yeah...it's like snake charming, I guess? Put your faith in the Lord that you won't get bitten by a snake or that your baby won't get crushed??? I dunno. If you go to his website, he found a better picture where you can really see how cute the babies are dressed, and also how totally helpless they are while this crazy guy jumps over them!
