I loved this movie too! I watched this two Horrorthons ago. JPX was mad at me for not reviewing it, since apparently at the time it didn't seem to be available anywhere but my local movie store. It was soooo good...sooo effective, a nice take on the zombie genre.
Oooh, this one is in my queue! Psyched to hear it's worth it.
I think Pontypool would made a good double feature with Phoonk.

Pontypool sounds like a child's imaginary playland.
