Last time we saw MJ she was finally about to leave the home but got distracted by the television. And now she's crying and will likely not go to the theatre. We can only guess why she's headed to the theatre. If it's a rehearsal or a performance she's in then she's screwing over her fellow theatre group. In her defense she's probably bummed about spending Valentines Day alone.
"Oh Peter, catch whomever you're after and hurry home to me!" MJ should know who Peter is after because he told her previously. If she's that worried about him then she should at least remember the adversary he's up against.
