That was indeed an excellent trailer. Nice buildup. Those dudes hanging off the back of that rig playing the drums was my favorite part.
Here's a thing I like about the Mad Max series. Between the first movie and the second, a nuclear apocalypse occurs. The only other series I can think of that has its main timeline cross the apocalypse is the Overfiend anime series.
And I guess the Terminator movies, too. But I feel like Salvation totally squandered that opportunity.
This preview seems to be a rallying cry for the worthiness of remakes. We caught It Follows and the preview for the new Poltergeist left me flaccid but this trailer ignited a boner. I will see it the day it comes out.
