Rami getting any closer to remaking Clash of the Titans?

From darkhorizons, Sam Raimi is being rumoured as the main candidate to direct the "Clash of the Titans" remake reports IESB.Net.

Legendary Pictures first announced back in 2004 plans to remake the famed 80's action epic about the classic Greek myth of Perseus.

Things didn't get moving til April this year when acclaimed scribe Lawrence Kasdan was hired to pen the script.

According to the site, the offer is now out to Raimi and no one else as yet. They also have an interesting script review covering which old and new characters will be seen.

Right. For the old characters there will be Perseus, Andromeda and the gang, for the new characters they'll add the ancient Greek Green Goblin, who flies while standing on the back of a winged otter or something.
