LOST episode schedule

From AICN, The last episode of the current pod (episode seven) will air Mar. 13. Then the show will be off the air for six weeks and return Apr. 24 at 9 p.m. That Apr. 24 episode will be the already-completed episode eight, which was filmed prestrike, but which apparently works much better as a minipremiere than it does as a minifinale.

They keep cutting every figure in half! It's hilarious: it's like Zeno's Paradox writ large.

"There will be sixty-four new LOST episodes."

"There will be two major groups of new LOST episodes consisting of thirty-two new LOST episodes each."

"Each 'major group' of new LOST episodes will play out as two seasons of LOST with sixteen all-new, never-before-seen LOST episodes in each season."

"After the eighth all-new episode of LOST in each season, the show will depart for a six-week 'special re-tooling' hiatus after which it will return."

The fourth all-new LOST episode marks the half-way point to the six-week 'special re-tooling' hiatus,' so is a very special two-part episode; the first part will air next Thursday and the second part -- an all-new, never before seen episode of LOST -- will air in three weeks, according to Damon Lindeloff. 'We're doing all of this to make it better for the fans,' LIndeloff explains. 'This is what everybody wants.'"

"The first half of tonight's two-part all-new LOST episode will end with a 'surprise' at which point it will be delayed due to the online '1/2 an all-new mobisode' of LOST..."

It is crazy, isn't it? I'm happy that we will eventually get 13 episodes this season and I've really been digging the direction of the show. Will they call this season Lost Season 3.5?
