Why is Peter chronically impoverished? Given that he has the best "access" to Spider-Man, how is it that he has not been able to get rich off it? Why does he continue to accept a crappy paycheck from The Bugle. I would tell J.J.J., "I want double my salary or you will never get another photo of Spider-Man from me and I'll go work for the New York Times!" Peter's kind of dumb.
So true! There are a million different ways he could make money off of his super-powers in a productive and honorable way. But nope, he just continues getting abused and unappreciated.
