Zowie wowie!
Now all they have to do is put out the fucking first episode of season 1.
I always loved the season two music, including the amazing sax-solo waltz tempo version of Laura's theme. At the time I wanted there to be a new "Second Season Soundtrack album," but of course that's ridiculous.
I feel like I'm watching Lost go through the same abysmal decline as Twin Peaks, right now.
Yawn. I've had an excellent bootleg of season 2 straight from the lazer-discs for some time now. *Stretches arms* Definitely riddled with poroblems. The biggest offending subplots being 1) Nadine thinking she's a teenager and 2) Ben Horne's Civil War re-enactment. Still didn't stop me from watching it many times over though.
Are there any good extras?
Don't forget the "message from space" and the "James goes on the road and meets a weird lady with a nice car" stories.
Twin Peaks, perhaps my favoirte TV show of all time, should've ended the moment Laura's killer was revealed - it would've been a near-perfect mini-series. Summerisle has that pilot bootleg courtesy of me, however when I recently attempted to play it I had problems (better check out your copy Summerisle).
I disagree, I think LOST has been riveting, especially last week's Locke episode.
At least they should have ended it when Cooper solved the case.
The pilot plays fine, sub-par quality though. I think Peaks is my all time favorite too, although Six Feet Under was brilliant for 6 years.
I can't wait for Season 3 of Lost to come out on DVD, particularly after hearing such conflicting reactions from youse two. I thought season 2 was pretty strong but I agree with Jordan's previous assessment that you can only sustain a show based on a mystery for so long before the gig is up.
Yeah, I'm in the minority on Lost. I practically threw my shoes at the screen after last week's.
I don't want to fight! I'm actually very interested in the divirging opinions here.
I've definitely found that we like completely different aspects of LOST. The more I like an episode the more you seem to hate it. Tonight's should be interesting based on what I've read.
Octo, watch LOST!
Octo, where the hell are you today?
Working, you bastards!
I don't think I've revisited Twin Peaks at ALL since it was on. But I'll always remember that lousy basement lounge full of college students, watching that midget dancing on the screen. If television as a concept had a head, then that night the top of it opened up and dark rainbows spewed out. Hooray for David Lynch.
was that officialy the last episode where Cooper bangs his head against a mirror???
Yes Curious, that was the last episode.
