Yes! Zombies plus high school, the ultimate horror monster in the ultimate horror setting -- has this been done before? Anyway, it hasn't been done enough.
My very brief search pulled up a movie called Zombie High from 1987. "A teenage girl gains a scholarship to an all-male boarding school, but soon discovers that her fellow classmates are becoming personality-less drones. As she investigates the school, she discovers the faculty may be experimenting on students."
