"First Blood" Returns to Theaters and Rambo DIES!


From worstpreviews, According to Fathom, Sylvester Stallone's first Rambo movie, "First Blood," will appear in theaters nationwide for one night on May 15th at 7:30pm. The feature content for this event will be shown in its original format and will be letterboxed on the top and bottom of the screen.

Following the film, fans will get to see an alternate ending, in which Rambo DIES. Plus - this one night event will include an exclusive, never-before-seen interview with Stallone on "First Blood," the new film and the iconic Rambo series.

In "First Blood," an ex-Green Beret is haunted by memories of Vietnam. He was once the perfect killing machine, but now he's searching for peace. Instead, he finds an over-zealous, small-town sheriff who's spoiling for a fight. All hell breaks loose when an unjustly imprisoned Rambo escapes and becomes the target of a massive manhunt. Now he must use all his cunning, combat skills and weapons training to stay alive and outwit his pursuers.

They should re-release all of the Rambo movies and have him die at the end of each one.

No, what they should do is air the original ending in which he dies, then show a scene from each successive movie that has him fading from existence at the worst possible moment.

What's with the letterboxing? Was that filmed in some crazy aspect ratio that can't fit on contemporary screens?
