JPX, DCD, and other Boston area Watchmen fans, I just got this note from my high school roommate, Tom. I just left him a phone message saying that I thought Tim (my bro) would be into it, but also that DCD and JPX (explained who you were) would be interested. Sounds like he's got plenty of space for all Boston Horrothoners, though!
"We have a partnership with Warner Brothers and we're jointly promoting Watchmen and Myvu very soon. I have the script and have seen some good chunks of the movie at a press event with Zack. I met Dave Gibbons, too (signed my book). Very nice guy.
I'm going to invite all my Facebook friends here to a free screening on March 3 in Randolph. Free viewing before the premier. Any chance you're around? Tim into this?"
Landshark, I hate you... don't forget it. ; )
Wait a second. I'm not going to be in the area for this! I'm just doing a righteous for my Horrorthon posse.
Landshark, you're my new best friend! Awesome.
landshark- coincidentally enough, today i initiated plans for a work-nerd-friends watchmen screening(regular ol' opening night) but would love to hear details about the randolph possibility.
Tom is going to join Horrorthon, and then he can be all of your new best friend.
JPX, his email is tstearns@myvu.com if you want to invite him.
Apparently he's got some inside info on Terminator and some other nerd-fare.
I'm interested as well :)
Mos def, Catfreek!
