Happy birthday to our resident Cat! I hope you do (or did ) something nice to mark the occassion (like watch more horror).

That cat picture is very disturbing.

Happy Birthday Catfreeek! I hope it was a bangin' kind of day. I hope your cats performed some sort of choreographed musical number, like Disney. Or, barring that, I hope they didn't poop on anything.

Agreed on the kitty pic. It's ear is missing, isn't it? I thought for a while it was just pointing backwards.

Jesus, where is everybody? HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It's funny because we've never actually met but we've been "Horrorthon friends" long enough for me to have a real sense of knowing you, your personality etc. Anyway Happy Birthday and I hope you enjoy the day.

I met some people in Texas who collected cats with missing legs.

Gah! Did you meet the ones who collected the legs?

Thanks everyone, I think the majority of our blog must be Christmas shopping. Or the Boogeyman got them.

Jordan I know just what you mean, I have never met you, Octo, Landshark, 50P, Trevor, Tami, Crystal or Julie and yet I feel I know you all pretty well. It's a great blog. Well, when everyone isn't MIA anyway.

lol @ Octo

GAH! I'm so sorry to have missed the official day! I also hope it was filled with dancing cats and horror and cake! Lots of cake.

I have no real excuses for being so MIA of late. I've promised myself I must get my "Best Of's" done, so hopefully later today...

Happy Birthday again, you crazy Cat. Hope to see you over the holidays!

happy belated birthday, catfreeek! i blame blog exhaustion for my own personal belatedness, though i think i caught you in time on fb. here's wishing you an absolutely spectacular year!

i love the phenomenon of "horrorthon friends" and completely agree with jordan about the eerie sense of familiarity (and i'll add, affection) for people i've never met, but i also harbor the irrational hope that we could all, somehow, meet up some day.

Viz. the cats with missing legs, it was actually a kind, charitable thing. A lot of cats lose limbs in accidents (apparently) and then nobody wants them anymore. The people I'm referring to liked to collect them. The cats were like human amputees in that they just had smooth fur where the missing (usually front) leg was supposed to be. It was fascinating to watch them walk around, sleep eat etc. in the usual blasé cat fashion even though they only had three legs.
