Last Sunday's 'The Simpsons' Earned Indie Cred With Songs by Hot Chip, Animal Collective (Video)

From hollywoodreporter, [excerpt]Adding to the cool-cred of the Foster Wallace-themed episode were two hip musical references: At the beginning of the show, an apathetic Bart faces yet another week of school to the strains of "Boy From School," a 2006 single by U.K. dance act Hot Chip.

Except when he gets to age 10 he would just stay the same for a freakishly long time.

That clip was great! Made me want to watch the Simpsons again.

Hmm. Considering that the clip JPX linked to included an old Bart, I assumed you were talking about an actual progression from youth to old age as represented in the show. Which is why I said "freakishly long time" and not "forever."

Now I'm not sure if you watched the second clip. So if you meant the beginning of the show, did you want to start at 10 and then flicker to infancy and toddlerhood and Supreme Court Justice age for the brief moments in which those versions appeared, or just have him be 10 the whole time?

See, it wasn't the joke. You need me.
