I'm not one of those people who get bent out of shape because a movie's marketing maneuvers look like Gap ads, but the spots have to be better than Gap ads. What's with the tiny "take a stand?" The whole thing is very uninspiring.

It makes me realize how great all the Matrix sequel posters were. I remember the contrasting styles for "Reloaded" and "Revolutions," and how the "Revolutions" posters in particular satisfied that particular "part 3 of a series" vibe of inevitability; you saw the screaming exoskeleton-wearing warriors and the dozens of scowling Smiths in the rain and thought, Ah, yes, THIS is where the story reaches the terminal point it's been heading towards all along
