For awhile now I've been annoyed that the Masters of Horror TV series was being released 1 episode at a time on DVD. That would be like releaseing The Twilight Zone one episode at a time under the guise of being separate mini-movies. Thankfully the entire first season is coming out and is listing at $55 on Amazon. Given that the individual episodes are currently being sold for $15 a pop, this is a bargain. This DVD set comes with 14 DVDs. Of course the jury is still out on whether or not it's worth owning. The few spisodes I viewed for Horrorthon 2006 were all over the place. Perhaps someone will take on this set for 2007?First rule of Horrorthon is: watch horror movies. Second rule of Horrorthon is: write about it. Warn us. Tempt us. The one who watches the most movies in 31 days wins. There is no prize.

Oh come on, you HAVE to buy that if you're going to pretend to be any kind of horror afficianado. It's worth it for the terrific packaging and Jenifer alone!
*sigh* Yeah I'll pick it up, how could I not? The packaging is cool but I hate DVD sets that don't fit nicely on my shelf with my other DVDs - I'm talking to you Battlestar Galactica giant Cylon head (see here, http://www.johnbuckelew.net/movie/images/439f.jpg).
I never saw Jenifer but I liked Cigarette Burns.
