He had to do his own drawing, didn't he? With all those exquisite Will Eisner drawings...and of course he does it in his Kabuki Theater/sponge paint/enormous shoes style.
I'm not encouraged either. I don't understand why he's using the "super-textured clothing" look here. Is the Spirit's suit made of crushed velvet? I would've thought the Spirit would've suggested cleaner, bolder lines.
And Jordan's right, using some of Eisner's art would be awesome.
And Eisner's ALIVE! He's being such a prick.
Okay, he died in 2005. (I'm going to get my own show, called "Wrong-O-Rama.")
