No, I didn't get Courtney Taylor-Taylor in the mail, but I did receive the new Dandy Warhols CD! Anyone else? In more TDW news, our band has released the video for "The Legend Of The Last Of The Outlaw Truckers AKA the Ballad of Sheriff Shorty"on MySpace.

I’m sure none of you except for JPX knows that I’m a bit of a germ-a-phobic. It’s annoying, but manageable. Though, since I met JPX and list...

Good lord, I hope that's not the cover! I believe that this album comes out in stores tomorrow - weren't we suppose to get it a week earlier because we joined the club? I haven't received Jack despite a promise from the band manager. That's cool that you got yours! Can't wait for 09/16...
of course not, don't be frightened. the cd cover looks just as it should. 9/16, that's less than a month away!
I got mine yesterday too. So far was the $34.99 subscription service worth it? Break it down:
- CD $10
- poster $8
- downloaded remix EP $3
They've still got a way to go if they ever want people to "renew" their subscription. Of course I'll renew regardless, just sayin'.
granted the subscription's no bargain, i feel compelled to show the love as i can.
to my own surprise i am loving the new cd... all the songs have grown on me except the last one.
Yeah I think ETTDW is a solid effort all around (aside from the useless last song).
AC have you listened to Rick Bain? He has 2 albums - both superb in my opinion. He has a new band Sundown Machine and you can listen to a few of the songs on their MySpace site.
no, johnny sweatpants, i don't think i've heard of rick bain. will check out the songs; thanks as always for the recommendations.
btw rolling stone did not care for the dandy warhols' new album. :(
to clarify, before johnny yells at me: no i don't care what rolling stone thinks, but it would be nice if the band got a boost in the u.s. now that they are working for themselves label-wise.
