I'll save Jordan the trouble of mentioning it by mentioning that he once told me his idea for a cinematic Sherlock Holmes that actually starred Jude Law as the title character. And here he's Watson.

I've been a huge Sherlock Holmes fan since eighth grade. The first Sherlock Holmes story is a novel called "A Study in Scarlet," which begins with Watson returning from fighting in Afghanistan. Come on, guys! Afghanistan! Relevant as hell! Oh, never mind...stupid Hollywood.
