Here's an example of my actual classwork as I learn Maya. This was the last part of the a head that we modelled, building slowly out of individual polygons like the ones you see here. By this point I think I get Maya pretty well (the small slice of it that we're using, I mean), because I rocked the ear in one class with time left over for goofy spaceships.
Once you've got it assembled like this, you hit a button and it all smooths out:
First rule of Horrorthon is: watch horror movies. Second rule of Horrorthon is: write about it. Warn us. Tempt us. The one who watches the most movies in 31 days wins. There is no prize.

That is fucking COOL!! Damn, you're talented.
I can't wait to see what you do with your new skills - perhaps you could work on a 3D rendering of Gretchen?
So cool, you've got me looking for classes in our area.

I'd need a profile picture to do that, JPX. Also: no, I'm not going to do that. I don't think I could handle the hours of close scrutiny I'd have to do on her face.
"I'd need a profile picture to do that" JSP and I have been trying to locate this woman for years to get more shots of her. Sadly we've just hit dead ends.
awesome octo

Cool shit Octo. (It would be cooler if you put a vagina in the ear but whatever.)
