Led Zeppelin reunite
Frm NME, Reports state that the band - with Robert Plant in tow - will hit the road next year
Led Zeppelin are planning a full tour for next summer, with singer Robert Plant set to rejoin the band, according to reports in The Sun today (September 26).
Despite their massively-successful reunion gig at London's O2 Arena last winter, the band have so far declined to confirm whether they will plan any more shows together.
Initially, it was believed that singer Plant was against a full tour with the band.
However, today's report claims that Plant is now ready to join guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist John Paul Jones and drummer Jason Bonham in rehearsals for a tour set to start next summer.
An unnamed source told the newspaper: "He [Plant] realised he couldn't face the thought of not being involved. The band were over the moon when he told them the news."

ok, i am starting to save my pennies, like, now.
So funny, AC. You were the first person I thought of when I saw the title to this post!!
Might have to break my boycott of arena shows for that.
dcd, that is so sweet! guess you know me pretty well.... :)
landshark, why do you boycott arena shows? as a fan of both boycotts and arena shows, i am intrigued.
awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ah I would give my next born for tix to this...will start working on that ASAP
Re: arens, AC. I just feel like I'm almost always underwhelmed by the shows. And that's even after seeing some pretty major acts like Floyd, Clapton, the Stones, Dead, etc. Maybe I'd feel differently if I was willing to fork over $120 for field seats...which I probably would be for Zeppelin.
But still, I just really prefer the intimacy of clubs and theaters. Rushing the stage at a Bosstones or Pogues show beats the hell out of standing in the bleachers of Foxboro watching a tiny man who could be Mick Jagger dance around far below.
gotcha, landshark. i prefer intimate shows too, and would agree an arena is the least congenial place to hear live music. now that i'm thinking back it does takes a lot to get me to an arena show and they do tend to be underwhelming.
i fear you may be underestimating the cost of field tickets to zep... i'm gonna save a real lot of pennies, just in case. of course if they take infants in exchange for tickets, as desroc is suggesting, maybe i can try to produce one in time for the show.
Yeah I'm thinking you're looking at $250/ticket minumum for crappy seats.
