"Conclusion"? That's too bad.
I guess that's the logical next step: First, sequels ran into problems because they had to re-hire all the stars (e.g. Superman II, Indiana Jones etc.) so they started locking the actors into trilogies. Which means that, today, pretty much every successful series is going to stop at three installments (unless they can bust out a contractually-unrelated project like Wolverine Origins or whatever).
They should go back to the old system, which gave us six Star Treks and four Lethal Weapons!
Word.
Right. So now the next logical thing to do is a reboot.
