This picture is from many years ago, when we were in grad school in Albany, maybe even before we began dating. Mr. AC needed a hammer and all he had lying around was a can of shaving cream. He scoffed at the protests of me and his roommate Marty, and this is the end result. As you can imagine, life with Mr. AC means never a dull moment, although thank goodness he now owns a real hammer.Happy Birthday Mr. AC!!!

Happy birthday, Mr. AC! You still look exactly the same. That story is hilarious. Come to think of it, I don't really own a hammer but I do have some shaving cream..

This story frankly amazes me, as I try to think of other things you had lying around that might've worked better, or at least not literally exploded in your face.
But even more I wonder what you would've grabbed had you not had the shaving cream. A rolled-up magazine? A wiffle ball? Some fish sticks? The mind reels.
