From Cinemablend, "Iron Man is underway as evidenced by the first few pictures to sneak online last week. Now there’s an actual picture of the armor making its way around. Now this isn’t the red and yellow armor most people associate with Iron Man. Before there was the polished look there was the grey suit that Tony Stark fitted together from parts while he was a prisoner of war. That’s this outfit and it looks brilliant. It’s clunky. It’s awkward. It’s definitely piecemeal. Iron Man isn’t one of my favorite Marvel heroes. Tony Stark is too opportunist and less noble than I typically look for in my heroes, but I have to admit this picture gets me a little excited. It looks like Jon Favreau has the right idea in mind for this movie."First rule of Horrorthon is: watch horror movies. Second rule of Horrorthon is: write about it. Warn us. Tempt us. I'm sorry but that's just so freakin' cool.
It's GREAT! I love the machine shop surroundings, with c-clamps and blow torches and everything. You can see a welding seam running right up the suit's chest, too. Very cool.
I've never cared a rat's ass for Tony Stark as a character, but that changed when they redid him in the Ultimate Marvel universe. I like the idea of a superhero who's also a CEO With A Conscience. It's a nice fantasy.
