Aw. Two things occur to me here, the first being that this anecdote really makes me wish these guys had more than three short seasons to hang out and work together back when the show was in production.
The other thing is attempting to gauge when this was taped based on how fat Shatner is. Late 80's?
I saw these two speak at a convention when they were promoting Star Trek IV.
