ATTENTION WEST COAST NERDS!!!

Notable nerd JPX is due to arrive in the bay area on February 22, 2008, a day that many experts have dubbed the "Nerdiest Day Imaginable." I implore anyone interested in discussing the remarkable bio-diversity of alien species represented in Jabba's Palace to join us for an unapologetic celebration of ALL THINGS GEEK. How, you ask? I'm Gretchen and I'm about to tell ya!

Before most people have had enjoyed their morning coffee, we will already be waiting nervously in line at Wondercon, the First Major Comics Convention of 2008!

(Wait for applause to die down.)

After an excessively thorough and slightly embarrassing day combing through every inch of the Moscone Center in San Francisco, we will then discuss/justify our unusually awesome purchases over a nice dinner.

But wait -THAT'S NOT ALL!!!

At 8:00 PM we'll head over to the Nob Hill Masonic Center to witness Video Games Live , a gleefully unexpected blend of live music and classic arcade games including Donkey Kong, Asteroids and everyone's favorite - Ms. Pacman!

Octopunk, I'mNotMarc, Julie, Gobaers, Miko (if you're here that weekend) and any East Coast Jerk or Belgian chick who's tired of "snow pellets" and "Feels Like 15", I'll see YOU there.

PS - After Video Games Live, I got nothin'. A bar perhaps?

I saw Video Games Live one year at the Bowl. It's really fun. And there were a lot of people there dressed up like video game characters.

Julie, you never cease to amaze me! Can't wait to finally meet you... at Wondercon? Your impending baby-wonder will thank you someday!

Video game characters, eh? Hmmmm....

I don't know if I'll make it to Wondercon. For one thing, it seems like it will really be Octo's bachelor party, in a sense! I mean, strippers and cocaine will just be a let down after this. But also, I'm in school, writing my brains out for the last term, and you know, I'll pregnant and just want to put my feet up most of the time.

Hee hee. I just wrote, "I'll pregnant." Hit submit before I could stop it. What does that mean? Pregnant is a verb and I'm going to pregnant in the future? Ah well.
