In 1979, audiences were terrified by Ridley Scott's genre-redefining science fiction masterpiece: Alien. In 2008, fans finally get what they've been waiting for: an Alien 18" Action Figure from NECA! That looks cool. Is that a re-issuing of that huge Alien figure from long long ago?
It's not clear to me, it looks like the same sculpt but I think it's sturdier. Apparently that rare toy from the 1970s was as delicate as a tulip and was easily broken, which I believe contributes to the high cost it commands today. It's rare to find one in mint condition.
