Trek goes viral; this just in, JPX is already sick of the word 'viral'

From filmstalker, First came the teaser trailer, now the first step in a Cloverfield-like assault begins. With a franchise like Star Trek, it doesn't need to create a mystery like Cloverfield, but since it's going to be the first time in a long while that anything Star Trek related is trying to appeal to a mainstream audience, the bigger the hype the better.

Check out this new site we found that has four camera feeds of the shipyard where the Enterprise is undergoing construction. Slide the bar to 100% to get the right video image clarity.

One of the cameras is always out, and it alternates between three and four everytime you refresh the page. No idea what that--or this whole site--means yet, but it's gotta lead to something cool, right?

I'm amped for the Trek movie and everything, but this is a ho-hum.

That's okay, the marketing scheme and the actual movie are different entities.
