Sigh. I can't rightly explain what it is -- I mean, I loved Grindhouse and everything -- but something about Rob Zombie's take on the whole Bad Ass Hairy Gun-Totin' Hillbilly Muscle Car Big Tits thing just tuckers me out.
I suppose I should watch another one of his movies besides 1000 Corpses, but I just can't muster up the gumption.
Yeah, thus far Zombie has been pretty disappointing with his film efforts. I'm not quite sure why his films don't work for me. He has the 70s look and exploitation vibe down perfectly, yet his films always end up missing their mark. For example, the Halloween remake was perfect, until Michael Myers puts on the mask and begins his killing spree.
