Uwe Boll's "Postal" Wins Best of Festival Award

From worstpreviews, Uwe Boll submitted his "Postal" movie to The Hoboken International Film Festival and walked off with the Best of Festival Award, reports WorthPlaying.

Nominated in five categories, Boll ended up winning the Best Director category and then walked off with the Best of Festival Award, which is given to the entry determined by the audience as its favorite.

"When the fans speak, WE WIN," said "Postal" executive producer Vince Desi. "We know this from our experience in the game industry and now the film business just confirms it. The continued success of the 'Postal' franchise in all its forms is proof that democracy works; you cannot stop what's in the hearts of the people. Freedom will always triumph over tyranny."

"Postal" was also nominated for several other awards, including Best Editing, Best Supporting Actor (Dave Foley) and Best Script. The festival, which ran from May 31st through June 4th, with a gala Awards Ceremony on June 5th, also honored veteran actor Billy Dee Williams, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Uwe Boll beat such films as "The Noogies," "In The Eyes of a Killer," "Predator's Return," and "The Pack" to win Best of Festival. None of the films mentioned appeared in theaters and some don't even appear on IMDB. Way to go Boll.

I've decided to make Pool It my new catch phrase but I have a feeling it's not gonna stick...
