From bloodydisgusting, Contrary to reports, Diary of the Dead 2 has NOT begun shooting yet, although we have received official confirmation that George A. Romero will be getting behind the lens for another zombie pic on September 15th in Toronto, Canada. Casting has yet to be revealed, watch for updates soon. The synopsis can be found inside.
The “diary” saga continues. Our heroes, trapped in the mansion where we left them, battle waves of ravenous zombies, barely escaping alive. In search of a safe place to settle, they commandeer an abandoned ferry and sail to a deserted island, only to find that it is already populated by a civilization of the dead. Told in the same first-person style that distinguished “George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead”, the next episode of the saga is a violent siege set in the middle of nowhere, a desperate struggle for survival, and peace, between two tribes: the living and the living dead. DIARY marks Romero's sixth entry in his horror franchise.

I have to admit, I don't really remember much about Diary of the Dead. Lots going on that weekend.

How strange, I too don't recall much about this film, what the hell has happened to us?
I think we headed to a coveted upstairs table at Beckett's across the street and got dru-u-u-unk. That's what I recall.
