Meet Jackson!
On the lighter side, and in honor of our new cat-loving Horrorthonner Catfreeek, here is a picture of Jackson the wonder-kitty, aged approximately 9 weeks. Husband and I are proud godparents. Yesterday I "taught" Jackson to terrorize a piece of crumpled up paper, and he entertained himself mightily. He is a tiny whirlwind of curiosity and energy and I adore him.

I'm honored. He looks very ornery, and that's a good thing as kitties go.
Looks like a troublemaker to me.
Most cats are troublemakers. They are lucky their cute. That’s what I always say about my defiant but very adorable cat.
Jackson is super cute.
So Cute! I love kittens and all their ferocious energy.
Sometimes I miss having a cat - but then I remind myself of the fact that I can barely deal with the dog - nevermind the two kids...
jackson certainly is an independent little fellow, but that just makes me love him more. also according to his owners, when he gets tired he just sacks out instantly on top of one of them and is very cuddly. so i guess he has two speeds, "whirling dervish" and "off." dcd, kittens are a bit of work, but much less than dogs or children, imho, though the overall chaos factor in the household would surely increase substantially.
Kitty! Yes, I bawled when we had to put Harold to sleep, but on the whole I find cat ownership to be a mixed bag. But I love kittens! Kittens!
Kittens!
