The Dark Knight is still making tons of dough

From slashfilm, The Dark Knight surpassed the $500 million mark early Sunday morning, which is a new record, as no film has ever accomplished this particular feat in just 45 days. It probably helps that only one other film has even accomplished that feat. Titanic hit $500 million in 91 days. Industry Analysts still predict a $520-$535 million domestic total, which would be $60 plus million shy of Titanic’s $600.8 million record.

dcd, you (and desroc) should try to go see dark knight soon. first of all, it is an excellent movie; second of all, you wanna see it on the biggest screen you can; and third of all, once you've seen it you may well want to see it a second time while it is still in theaters.

i was able to appreciate the acting in dark knight much more second time around, cuz i knew what was gonna happen.

i saw iron man in the second-run theater yesterday, and though i liked it (and got my real-butter popcorn fix, mmmm), i thought dk was much better. those who disagree, i'd be delighted to hear dissenting views.
