This seems like an obvious move but I can't really criticize the results. The details are great, like the publisher's logos and the boosted poster taglines.
I like 'em.
I really like it, because (unlike those silly "great modern sci-fi classics as if they came out decades ago" posters that keep showing up everywhere and unduly impressing everyone) these actually relate visually to the source material and, you know, took some work to make.
did anyone click onto the guy's actual blog? the star wars posters are excellent, as is the pie wedge avengers image.
i love that the hulk's wedge is a bloodshot eye. i can't quite figure out what black widow's wedge is supposed to be.
All that stuff is great. I can't figure out Thor's wedge,either. Is that supposed to be the writing on his hammer or something?
