From cinemablend, Published over two issues back in 1981, the storyline introduced an alternate future where mutants were under persecution after the assassination of a senator and giant robots called Sentinels were created to hunt down mutants. In order to try and fix the situation, Kitty Pryde mentally travels back in time so that she can warn the X-Men about the future.

I checked through my collection last night and discovered that I have that issue of Uncanny X-Men pictured. A quick check on Ebay suggests that it's worth $50 - woot!
