DCD, Julie, Octo, JPX and Whirlygirl decided to call a temporary peace-gathering to celebrate Little Z! And generally get drunk (except for Julie) and silly with Holiday Cheer.A wonderful time was had by all. And before we get back to blasting those West Coast wussies, I would just like to say Happy New Year everyone!

I'm sorry I wasn't there to hang out and embarrass myself (and meet the lovely ladies!) Wow, 5 Horrorthonners, that's a record! You should have had a mini-Horrorthon competition, or at least an arm wrestling competition (I've got my money on Whirleygirl.)
Speaking of west coast, we went hiking then wine tasting in Sonoma yesterday and it was beautiful outside and the wine was quite delicious.
Good wine (like good people) generally doesn't grow well on the east coast due to the ungainly weather conditions.

i refuse to engage in east/west rivalry today, myself. i am considerably too relaxed, having spent a lazy day watching 4 episodes of LOST season 2 (yes i'm that far behind) while baking chocolate chip cookies. evening plans include attempting to trounce husband at Scrabble before we head off to a party. every day should be a holiday.

Octo and I are also still on season 2! We are gaining, though, since we watch about four episodes a day.
good to hear i'm not alone, Julie! i'm kind of hoping to be totally caught up by the season 4 premiere Jan 31st. sounds like you and Octo will do that no problem.
