Online 'Creepshow' Series; can only suck
From bloodydisgusting, We received an e-mail this morning with a "rumor" that HD Films Inc has acquired the rights to Stephen King and George A. Romero's CREEPSHOW franchise and plans on turning it into an online series. We can confirm this news as we know a few people involved in the project - and some shooting has already taken place! Read on for the skinny from our scooper and the first images.
"It's rumor at this point, but it seems that HD Films Inc (http://www.hdfilms.com), based in Burbank CA, have secured the rights to the CREEPSHOW franchise (originally launched by Stephen King & George A. Romero back in 1982), and are teasing a new internet-based anthology series based upon the format of the original movie titled CREEPSHOW RAW," writes B-D tipster Nicholas.
"Though nothing is 100% concrete just yet, it seems highly likely that the new series will be moving ahead as I have uncovered three teaser images." Coming soon.
"The man heading the potential new series is Jace Hall - who is known for some of the most terrifying video game franchises of all-time including F.E.A.R, Blood, Condemned: Criminal Origins & Alien vs. Predator 2. So there is certainly a lot for horror fans to be excited about!"
