They've really toned down the red! Extremely muted reds on the costume, there.
They always have to screw around with the visuals. At least Spider-Man got to wear his legit costume.

Cripes, is he wearing ski goggles under that thing? He looks lumpy.
What I recall about that costume is that the eyes had a bunch of eensy holes for seeing. I figure the visual quality was just a bit better than from within a Stormtrooper helmet.
Re: Supes. I don't mind a dark red, but the reds in that pic do look awfully muddy.
