From worstpreviews, According to My Entertainment World website, which lists the latest movie production updates, Dr Hugo Strange may still be part of "The Dark Knight Rises" storyline. The site is accurate as far as shooting dates and alternate production names, so maybe there's some truth to Strange being involved.
The site states: "Dark Knight Rises, The (aka Magnus Rex and Fox Hills Green) - Mid June, 2011 - India and London, UK and New York, NY and Pittsburgh, PA; Story: As Batman deals with his new status as a wanted vigilante, Dr. Hugo Strange, a villainous psychiatrist, concocts a plan to destroy him and become the new Batman."
In related news, Daniel Sunjata ("Grey's Anatomy," "Rescue Me") is the latest actor to join the cast. No word on which role he will be playing.

Meh. I mean, Nolan can make it work but Hugo Strange just isn't that sexy. An evil shrink? Big deal. We've got two of those right here on the blog.
How come nobody's considered Clayface? They could make him a costumed character just like the Thing. Hahaha! I'm kidding. How much would THAT suck?
